Change maintainer of the package, in DESCRIPTION — desc_change_maintainer • desc

Only works with the Authors@R field.

Usage

desc_change_maintainer(
  given = NULL,
  family = NULL,
  email = NULL,
  comment = NULL,
  orcid = NULL,
  file = ".",
  normalize = FALSE
)

Arguments

given: Given name.
family: Family name.
email: Email address.
comment: Comment.
orcid: ORCID.
file: DESCRIPTION file to use. By default the DESCRIPTION file of the current package (i.e. the package the working directory is part of) is used.
normalize: Whether to "normalize" (reorder and reformat) the fields when writing back the result. See desc_normalize().

Details

The current maintainer is kept if they have at least another role.
